JASON WEBSTER has written fifteen critically acclaimed books which have sold in over twenty countries around the world.
His titles include Duende: A Journey in Search of Flamenco; Sacred Sierra: A Year on a Spanish Mountain; a biography of the Spanish WWII double agent Garbo; and the Max Cámara series of crime novels.
He has appeared in TV documentaries for the BBC, Five and the Discovery Channel, and presented the documentary ‘Flashmob Flamenco’ on BBC Radio 4.
Webster is an award-winning photographer and a director of The Scheherazade Foundation, a non-profit which aims to empower women, bridge cultures and unlock the potential of stories.
He is married to the flamenco dancer Salud and has two children.
